{"id":1833,"date":"2025-07-07T15:07:32","date_gmt":"2025-07-07T15:07:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/turismo.cdfdz.gob.mx\/?p=1833"},"modified":"2025-07-08T15:29:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-08T15:29:09","slug":"museo-el-mamut","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/turismo.cdfdz.gob.mx\/?p=1833","title":{"rendered":"MUSEO EL MAMUT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-white-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-c430c6e2813b6624146bb3a20c5b04ac\"><strong>Colecci\u00f3n  Privada de el Hotel Media Luna<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00a1Descubre el pasado prehist\u00f3rico en el Museo El Mamut!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Bajo las aguas de la Laguna de la Media Luna, en la Zona Media, se encontr\u00f3 en 1981 la cabeza de un mamut, \u00a1uno de los primeros hallazgos subacu\u00e1ticos de este tipo en Latinoam\u00e9rica!<br>Durante a\u00f1os, el manantial fue conocido como el \u201ccementerio de mamuts\u201d. Hoy puedes conocer esta historia en un museo que te conecta con la prehistoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se piensa que los mamuts migraban de norte a sur y utilizaban esta laguna como punto de hidrataci\u00f3n. Algunos, al intentar beber agua, ca\u00edan y se ahogaban, lo que llev\u00f3 a que en las d\u00e9cadas de 1980 y 1990 se conociera al lugar como el &#8220;cementerio de mamuts&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Estos hallazgos datan de entre el 700 y 1100 despu\u00e9s de Cristo<\/strong>, que corresponden al final del periodo Cl\u00e1sico, pero tambi\u00e9n se han encontrado f\u00f3siles de animales a 36 metros de profundidad, que son m\u00e1s antiguos. Desde hace tres a\u00f1os, trabajan en este entre&nbsp;<strong>buzos, restauradores, antrop\u00f3logos f\u00edsicos, arque\u00f3logos, e historiadores;<\/strong>&nbsp;pero adem\u00e1s se tienen colaboradores del Instituto de Investigaciones Nucleares que analizan la cer\u00e1mica, y de la Escuela Nacional de Antropolog\u00eda e Historia que hace c\u00e1lculos dentales para identificar la dieta de las personas de la \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoy, el Museo El Mamut resguarda y comparte este pasado con visitantes de todo el pa\u00eds. \u00a1Sum\u00e9rgete en una historia milenaria que
